A gem in the middle of Golden Gate Park! We had no problem renting a paddle boat for the three of us and an hour rental was enough to get around the lake and have fun! It’s reasonably priced for the family. Parking is free if you can find a spot along the road. The boat house also has food options and a place to dine or eat lunch you bring. You can also sit along the lake in benches or on grass. Many things to see from birds, turtles, waterfall, pagoda, bridge, etc. it’s fun for any age! Even more fun when you are the parent and your kids do all the paddling! Try it out!

Went for a jazz show at the boathouse. Good performance from The Vermilion City Trio, and a decent selection of drinks available for the small place that it is. A bit cold on the inside, even dressed for it, and the seats were very uncomfortable for sitting that long.

We rented a pedal boat for an hour and had a blast! We had the water to ourselves with the exception of one other person on Monday at 11am. Food and drink selection is limited but that was fine for us as we went for the boating experience, not food.

Such a great spot for kids and adults. There are fishes and lot of turtles. This place is located inside Golden Gate Park. You can rent a canoe or pedal boat. Great for a day trip with the kids. Ive seen adults out there bring their own food and drinks settle in the middle of the lake and have a picnic in the canoe.

The prices can be some quite expensive is 32.70/hour for a paddle boat. The lake is not very big but it gets tiring to keep the boat going. Family of 4. 3 adults and 1 kid and it tooks us 1 hour to do the full loop. It was pretty fun but the lake is a little bit dirty and the bridges have graffiti on them. However we saw the waterfall and the japanese gazebo. A really fun activity and a good workout 🤗

The whole family enjoyed the paddle boat! Also have rowboats but with a strict weight limit. There was a couple next to us having a romantic rowboat date. So cute! Weather was nice, easy to pay and ride. Staff was polite.

Great way to connect with nature with the whole family. Row and paddle boats can be pricey. Best to go during the week instead of the weekends to avoid the crowds. Watch the parking signs. You will get a ticket here if you accidentally park in no parking zone.
